Elon Musk's current effort to purchase twitter has revived the free speech debate. Musk oddly claims he is against censorship yet most of his twitter followers are fake. Needless to say, Elon Musk lives by his delusions. He seeks to spread his influence by imposing his will on others and this pathalogocal megalomaniac actually thinks he has the power, ability and the authority to control twitter.
Musk's arrogance is unprecedented and astounding. He actually put the initial twitter deal on hold because he claimed he needed more details on spam accounts even though he is the biggest spammer on the Internet. And now, he is trying to complete the purchase of twitter so that he is no longer compromised by the lawsuit that was launched because he backed out of the deal. There is irony at every turn wherever Musk is concerned. Tesla reportedly used bots to manipulate Tesla stock since 2013 and it is therefore difficult to understand why Elon Musk is still allowed to post on twitter given the fact that he is clearly the unrivalled King of Fake Followers. Suffice to say, Musk has serious psychological issues to resolve if he has to inflate his twitter presence with fake followers and a good psychiatrist can probably satisfy his overinflated ego without sacrificing the credibility of twitter in the process. If Elon Musk purchases twitter and imposes his control, he will merely destroy it, he is not in a position to influence it in any meaningful manner. Even Vanity Fair independently determined that that if Musk buys twitter, "he's very likely going to turn it into a right-wing cesspool featuring the worst people on earth-starting with Donald Trump." Elon Musk in fact said he would reverse Donald Trump's twitter ban and that it was "morally wrong and flat-out stupid" to ban him. Does anybody in fact believe that? Regardless, that is all one can expect from the man who bought Tesla because Pedophile and finance wizard, Jeffrey Epstein advised him that the backing of Saudi Investors and US government made the electric car market a viable and potentially lucrative business venture. Why else do you think Musk even bothered to get into a venture that was otherwise doomed to fail? The electric car market was clearly far too risky to engage without established backers and the same appears to be very true with Musk's current murky venture -the effort to purchase twitter. Personally, I care not what Elon Musk says or does because intelligent people are not moved by his nonsense. But his ability to use his money and his reach to influence and to misinform is disturbing and for that reason, not only should Elon Musk not own twitter, he should not even be allowed to post on twitter because he is a greedy and corrupt stock manipulator who should be banned from a platform he abuses. Is it even remotely plausible to be able to trust the alleged, free speech advocacy of any billionaire who endorses people like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis? DeSantis has banned ideas he does not like, suppressed voting rights, criminalized protesting, keeps an enemies list and proposed his own election police, making him even Trumpier than Trump himself. Under the circumstances, the extraordinary hypocrisy of the claim that Elon Musk is an advocate for free speech is peculiar, yet understanding. When you live in a world where you think you can get away with sexual assault as long as you promise to buy your victim a pony, your sense of reality is likewise distorted and that says everything you need to know about both Trump and Musk. The aggrieved right wing is forever counting on Elon Musk to buy twitter so that he can unban Donald Trump and echo chamber in that regard imcludes all the pundits and guests Fox News has had on the air since Musk announced his intention to buy twitter. To be effective and manipulation-free, freedom of speech requires two-way street policing because one-way street access is being exploited. For example, one is certainly free to contribute money to political campaigns. [Buckley v. Valeo, 424 U.S. 1 (1976).] However, it is illegal to contribute dark money to political campaigns, but that part of the equation is not being adequately enforced and Musk evidently thinks that he is big and powerful enough to ignore the rule of law. Every society prohibits and protects. You cannot have one without the other. When hate propaganda is permitted, real people get killed and a platform like twitter becomes a weapon of war in the hands of those who are granted the opportunity to vilify their adversaries. That is why people like Elon Musk and Donald Trump should be forever banned from a platform they are known to abuse. If Elon Musk buys twitter, the entire platform will eventually be shut down for reasons that are rather clear and obvious to anybody who understands the motivation and the harm of making twitter another arm of the current Republican Party Cult. Elon Musk is certainly a republican, anti-woke advocate and he made that absolutely clear when he tweeted, "At its heart, wokeness is divisive, exclusionary, and hateful. It basically givesmean people a shield to be mean and cruel, armored in false virtue." The current, Republicans Cult and like-minded bigots like Elon Musk, use twitter to vilify people they do not agree with, they call the process free speech when it is in fact tribal bullying and they resent the fact that their hostility should not be tolerated so they seek to control what Elon Musk calls "the memes of production". In his brilliant book the educated imagination, Northrop Frye, Canada's unprecedented genius, precisely and consisely defined what free speech is and what it is not, in the following terms; "I don't see how the study of language and literature can be separated from the question of free speech, which we all know is fundamental to our society. The area of ordinary speech, as I see it, is a battleground between two forms of social speech: the speech of a mob and the speech of a free society. One stands for cliche, ready-made ideas, and automatic babble, and it leads us inevitably from illusion into hysteria. There can be no free speech in a mob: free speech is one thing a mob can’t stand. You notice that the people who allow their fear of Communism to become hysterical eventually get to screaming that every sane man is a Communist." Even the reign of Ronald Reagan and the Bush family witnessed the replacement of free speech with an organized, Rush Limbaugh-like assault on everything that is fair, reasonable and accurate, and it was called conservatism. In fact, it was nothing more than what Northrop Frye called the hysteria that is inevitable when a society is governed by ready-made ideas, automatic babble and political leadership that is marketed like a bar of soap. All speech should be free and all people should be educated enough to clearly understand the stark difference between free speech and the propaganda of the mob. In the alternative, we will continue to be the victims of fake news, manufactured reality, and free speech advocates who censor everything for the sake of imposing their will. The constitutional guarantee of free speech is vital and important, not because it is supposed to select the chosen King for the chosen Tribe, but because it is supposed to create a fourth institution outside the government as an additional check on the three branches of government. That is what the metaphor, "the Fourth Estate" is all about. Indeed, the Founding Fathers used the terms freedom of speech and freedom of the press synonymously and those of us who blog about politics and the like and publish our thoughts are essentially citizen journalists. Men like Trump and Musk turn twitter into a forum of deceptive speech and that undermines the decision-making process by replacing truth with falsehood and there is no excuse for that. Moreover, they are inclined to intimidate, to coerce and to force compliance to their demands and given their cult following, they ultimately provoke violence because their indtimidating words are predictably converted to actions that have absolutely nothing to do with free speech. Eisenhower said, "if a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power". Likewise, Elon Musk, Donald Trump and his enablers measure their influence by the ability to seize power, that is the one and only reason they are aggressively seeking to dominate twitter and sooner or later, the fact that their shared delusion are not even remotely plausible will become very clear and obvious. Indeed, as long as fake bots define their genuine influence, they will continue to become what they criticize and in the end, they will destroy themselves. In the meantime, our twitter pals are very real and very genuine.

Elon Musk is trying to normalize propaganda through twitter ownership. Is he trying to be America's latest Charles Manson?

Retweet if you think all the "citizen journalists" he bans ought to engage a multi-billion dollar class-action lawsuit against that evil censorship clown.
